First plum with dark red skin and flesh to ripen. Crops heavily around Christmas. All purpose plum with good sweet flavour. A Cross variety. Self fertile.
Harvest in January. Plant in a sunny, sheltered site with protection from Spring frosts. Best planted in deep, well draining soil.
